ARABIA500 Background: In December 2011, AllWorld announced the inaugural Arabia 500 at the Global Summit on Entrepreneurship in Istanbul. The Arabia500 is the Inc.500 of the Middle East region, bringing together a new breed of dynamic entrepreneurs from the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Pakistan. They come to Harvard for 3 days to learn best practices and build a global network of fellow growth entrepreneurs. The Arabia500 entrepreneurs are growing at 60% a year, 10x the rate of the private sector in their countries, and represent 100,000 employees, 2x the size of Apple Inc.
