Michael S. Rockefeller

As a skilled marketing professional, Michael's business expertise has strengthened a number of brands.

Michael consulted for America Online's Greenhouse after he earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. He provided business, planning, and marketing expertise to websites like The HUB, Urban Legends, PicturePlace and iGolf, among other sites.

Before entering business school, Michael developed and implemented complete media campaigns at DDB Needham Worldwide Advertising. His clients included names like Michelin Tires, Weight Watchers, and Ore-Ida Foods. Prior to that, he worked as an associate at Capital Research & Management, where his job was to assess and analyze stock markets. He also spent part of his career at Morgan Stanley & Co. where he developed procedural and organizational changes for the Merchant Banking Division and the Streamline Group.

Michael sits on several boards, including: MOUSE, a New York City-based non-profit empowering students and schools to succeed in the Information Age; Venrock, a venture capital firm; and Rockefeller & Company, an investment manager and advisor.
